Every summer my family and I go on vacation to Turkey, to my aunt and uncle.
They live in the resort town of Avsallar.
First of all, my dad's friend drove us in his minivan to the Volgograd airport. The trip from Elista to Volgograd is about 4.5~5 hours. From Volgograd airport we fly to Moscow Vnukovo Airport.
The flight is about 2 hours.
Then we fly from Vnukovo to Antalya Airport.
And finally the final flight was about 3~3.5 hours.
But on the way to the aunt and uncle's house, it was not the end.
And after a successful landing, we had a two-hour transfer ride to Avsallar.
And the same way back, but vice versa.
Phew...
It was the whole route :)
Already being in Turkey, we were in many places...
For example, in Istanbul on the Galata Bridge, which connects the Asian and European parts of Istanbul. We took a ride in a huge subway. We visited the Grand Bazaar. We were at the Bosphorus Strait, which connects the Marmara and the Black Sea. And we were also in the Cathedral of St. Sophia.
In Alanya, we rode a cable car over Cleopatra Beach, and also sailed on a pirate ship along the coast.
We also visited the world's largest tunnel aquarium Antalya Aquarium.
We walked through the ruins in The Ancient City of Side.
We passed through the underground cities of Cappadocia.
And of course we rested on the beach of Avsallar...
The summer weather in Avsallar is just wonderful
And here are all the settlements in which we were: Istanbul, Antalya, Avsallar, Side, Perge, Konakli, Cappadocia and Aksai.
